在地故事劇場社群探索社區歷史、傳統文化、神話傳說與特色生活生態等,將所探索的內容彙整成有趣且具有代表性的在地故事並轉化成展演劇本,透過劇場演出對外展現與倡議,成為馬頭山地區在地生態環境保育之理念推廣的一種方式。


馬頭山地區在地故事劇場社群–第2次研習

今天早上在觀亭國小舉行馬頭山地區在地故事劇場社群的第二次研習,雖然教室外面大雨傾盆,學員們仍舊不畏風雨的前來參加課程。這次同樣是由飛馬文化聚場的黎恩菲藝術總監帶領學員參與一系列活潑的戲劇活動,激發大家內在的創造力,集體創作屬於馬頭山的在地故事。

This morning, despite the heavy rain pouring outside, dedicated participants gathered for the second workshop of the The Matou Mountain Neighborhood Story Theatre Community. Led by Ms. Li En-Fei, Artistic Director of Pegasus Cultural Space, the session inspired creativity through dynamic theater activities, fostering collective storytelling rooted in Ma-Tou Mountain’s local culture.

課程中老師發下她以上次學員們的分組呈現為靈感,整理後寫下的在地故事劇場展演的劇本初始大綱和每個場景的文字敘述,帶大家讀過一遍後進行討論。

Ms. Li began the session by presenting an initial draft of the script for the community’s storytelling theater. The draft, inspired by ideas from the previous workshop’s group presentations, outlined the story’s framework and described each scene in detail. After reading through the draft together, participants engaged in discussions to refine the narrative.

故事大綱初步的融合人類與大自然的共生之道、馬頭山的動植物、反對建造廢棄物掩埋場事件等主題。老師邀請大家提出更多想法,學員也對如何讓外地的觀眾更容易對劇情產生共鳴與關心劇中的議題提出建議。

The storyline highlighted themes such as the symbiotic relationship between humans and nature, the flora and fauna of Matou Mountain, and the local protest against the construction of a waste landfill. Participants contributed suggestions on how to make the plot more relatable to outside audiences, emphasizing the importance of raising awareness about the issues depicted in the play.

隨後,為了更熟悉彼此,大家先是進行自我介紹,社群學員來自各個領域,有馬頭山的在地居民、在地幼兒園的老師、文藻外語大學的老師,還有任職於國家公園管理處的學員,老師也用傳接球遊戲的方式,來讓大家搶答夥伴的名字,以此熟記對方該如何稱呼。另外,老師帶著學員完成了鏡子模仿與模仿猜猜看等暖身遊戲,透過輕鬆玩遊戲的方式開發肢體與想像力。最後,大家各自分組進行劇本中每個場景的劇情發想與討論,並進行課堂呈現。

To foster familiarity among participants, everyone introduced themselves. The group included local residents of Matou Mountain, a kindergarten teacher, the Assistant Professor from Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages, and a staff member from the National Park Administration. Ms. Li employed interactive activities such as a ball-passing game, where participants learned and remembered each other’s names, adding a lively and personal touch to the workshop.Next, the group engaged in warm-up games like “Mirror Mimicry" and “Guess the Impersonation." These exercises encouraged participants to explore their imagination and physical expression in a fun and relaxed setting, breaking the ice and paving the way for deeper creative collaboration. Participants divided into groups to brainstorm and develop the script’s individual scenes. After intense discussions, each group presented their ideas, receiving feedback and encouragement from the community. The session not only honed their storytelling abilities but also deepened their connection with the themes of the play.

課後進行的小小訪談裡,黎老師說道,在先前帶領表演課的經驗中,大部分民眾對於戲劇是恐懼的,但這次在地故事劇場的每位成員都躍躍欲試、迫不及待的想展現自己,這種熱情在老師每每參與地方性社群的戲劇活動時,皆會為之感動。而這次的呈現,在社群成員的腦力激盪,以及黎老師整合所有人的創意發想後,期望能以活力四射的演出,與觀眾分享馬頭山居民心中對於故鄉山林風光和自然生態的喜愛之情。

In a brief post-session interview, Ms. Li shared her thoughts on the workshop:“In my experience leading theater workshops, many people initially fear acting. But here, every member of the community is eager to perform and express themselves. Their enthusiasm is incredibly inspiring and heartwarming, especially in the context of local storytelling projects.”

She added that the community’s collective brainstorming and her role in synthesizing their creativity aim to culminate in a vibrant performance. Through this play, they hope to share with audiences the residents’ profound love for the natural beauty and ecological richness of Matou Mountain.

This workshop not only strengthened the group’s storytelling skills but also deepened their resolve to celebrate and protect their homeland through the power of theater.

馬頭山地區在地故事劇場社群–第1次研習

馬頭山地區在地故事劇場社群於7月21日辦理第一次研習,邀請到飛馬文化聚場的黎恩菲藝術總監擔任講師,帶領大家發想關鍵字及透過心智圖的活動,串起馬頭山的生態與歷史人文,藉此打造屬於馬頭山的在地故事。

The Ma-tou Mountain Neighborhood Story Theatre Community held its first workshop on July 21st., led by Li En-fei, the Artistic Director of The Flying Horse. She guided the participants through keyword brainstorming and used mind map activities to connect the ecology and historical culture of Ma-tou Mountain, creating a unique story that belongs to the place.

黎老師提到,戲劇的展演不僅可向眾人推廣自身家鄉的人文生態,且經由夥伴合力展演一齣戲的過程也能凝聚在地向心力,強化大家的夥伴關係。她也說到,戲劇是構成的,是拼圖式的片段,只要梳理得有意義、有邏輯就能成為一個故事,一旦沒有被好好地整理,就會讓人家覺得內容冗長且不易抓到故事中的亮點與精華。

Li mentioned that theatrical performances could not only share cultural and ecological aspects of their hometown with the public but also help build local solidarity through the collaboration of staging a play. She emphasized that a theatre work is composed of puzzle-like fragments; when organized meaningfully and logically, these fragments can form a coherent story. Without proper organization, the content can become lengthy and may obscure the highlights and essence of the story.

黎老師請夥伴運用便利貼書寫自己對馬頭山的意象、印象、特色或情感之形容詞,再請夥伴將此便利貼分為「生態」、「人文」兩類,分別貼在兩張大海報上,隨後老師將夥伴分為兩組,請各組夥伴進行討論,找出各個關鍵詞彙的連結關係。分組討論結束後,兩組學員便輪流上台分享他們所串起的故事。例如,生態組的成員以馬頭山在地特色的刺竹出發,過去馬頭山因竹子產業盛行,可將砍伐下來的竹子販售到外地作為搭建蚵架,而在地居民也會以竹子做為日常生活用品的材料,甚至是建造房子的建材,竹筍也成為在地居民菜餚中普遍會出現的食材。後來竹子產業沒落,大批刺竹無人砍伐即原地腐爛,遂成為螞蟻的家,如此一來「隨螞蟻而居」的穿山甲也被吸引到此定居。從刺竹就可以發展出鏈結人文與生態的故事。

Li asked the participants to write down their impressions, features, or feelings for Ma-tou Mountain on sticky notes. They were then instructed to categorize these notes into two groups: “Ecology" and “Culture," and place them on two large posters. Subsequently, participants were divided into two groups to discuss and find the connections between the keywords. After group discussions, each group took turns presenting the stories they had developed. For example, one group focused on the ecological aspects, starting with introducing the common local plant, the thorny bamboo. They explained that Ma-tou Mountain once thrived on the bamboo industry, with bamboo being sold for manufacturing into oyster racks and used in the making of household goods and for building materials. As the bamboo industry declined, the unharvested thorny bamboo decayed and attracted ants, which in turn drew pangolins to the ants and thus inhabitants there. Through brainstorming among team members, this story connected ecology with the culture of the Ma-tou Mountain via thorny bamboo.

另一組成員以馬頭山的人文為主體,串起早期當地特殊的職業—引路人、石頭公信仰及竹子產業,這組成員並提到反對建造廢棄物掩埋場的行動,透過這個抗爭行動,喚起馬頭山地區居民的愛鄉情懷及對於這塊土地的感恩之心,讓大家同心地團結在一起,共同守護這個孕育他們長大的馬頭山。

Another group centered on the cultural aspects of Ma-tou Mountain in their story, weaving together keywords such as the early unique local profession— the Guidances, the stone god worshipping, and the bamboo industry, along with the anti-landfill movement. They recalled how the movement awakened the residents’ love for their hometown and their gratitude towards the land, uniting them to protect Ma-tou Mountain where they were raised and born.

經過大家的討論與分享,在地故事劇本已有初步輪廓,期待透過接下來的研習課程,夥伴們在黎老師的帶領下完成劇本創作並演練表演技巧,以在10月成果展時對外展演。

Through discussions and presenting, the preliminary outline of the script for the neighborhood story has taken shape. The community looks forward to completing the script and enhancing their performing skills in the upcoming workshops, aiming for the performance during the presentation of the Project in October.
